Reading time: 5 minutes
I’m incredibly excited about the new capabilities of AI, including the recent ones announced for Dynamics and Power Platform. In fact, I’m so excited that I’ve come up with the idea to generate a blog post using ChatGPT about the impact of these AI capabilities to Dynamics partners. It took me about 30 minutes of working with ChatGPT to come up with the blog post, which is provided below, but it was well worth it. Enjoy reading it. The potential of AI to transform the way we do business is enormous, and I can’t wait to see what new developments are just around the corner.
The introduction of AI capabilities like Copilot has significant implications for Dynamics and Power Platform partners. By leveraging cutting-edge technologies, partners can differentiate themselves in the market and provide even more value to their clients. This can translate into increased demand for Dynamics and Power Platform solutions, better competitive standing, new service opportunities, and streamlined operations. In this post, we’ll explore the key benefits for Dynamics and Power Platform partners from the recent introduction of AI capabilities in more detail.
1) AI capabilities make Dynamics and Power Platform more attractive to customers, boosting demand and competitive standing
The introduction of AI capabilities can make Dynamics and Power Platform more attractive to end customers, which is crucial for partners competing with other ERP, CRM, or low-code providers like SAP, NetSuite, Oracle, etc. Customers who may have previously considered other providers may now be drawn to Dynamics and Power Platform because of the advanced AI capabilities that are available out of the box. This increased demand can lead to more work for partners and, ultimately, increased revenue streams from the services they provide to their customers.
2) Increased demand for Dynamics and Power Platform solutions results in higher license resell revenues
Increased demand for Dynamics and Power Platform solutions in the market and better competitive standing can, in turn, lead to higher license resell revenues for partners. As customers increasingly choose Dynamics and Power Platform solutions, partners can expect to see a boost in their bottom line.
3) AI capabilities create new service opportunities for partners
While some of these AI-driven features may not require significant configuration by partners, this does not mean there are no new service opportunities. Partners can still provide valuable services such as training, consulting, and support to help customers get the most out of these features. Additionally, partners may find that the increased demand for Dynamics and Power Platform solutions leads to new business opportunities, such as customizing these solutions to meet specific customer needs or integrating them with other systems.
4) AI capabilities streamline partner operations and increase efficiency
The impact of AI capabilities in Dynamics and Power Platform goes beyond just increasing license resell revenues and driving new service opportunities. These tools can also help partners streamline their own operations, reducing the time and resources required to deliver solutions to clients. For example, Copilot can help partners to write code more efficiently and accurately, freeing developers to focus on more strategic work.
Of course, these are just a few possible impacts, and partners may experience other benefits as well. The key takeaway is that the introduction of AI capabilities in Dynamics and Power Platform has significant implications for partners. By embracing these technologies and staying ahead of the curve, partners can position themselves as leaders in the market and continue to drive digital transformation for their clients. Ultimately, the impact of AI capabilities in Dynamics and Power Platform can result in increased demand, higher license resell revenues, new service opportunities, and streamlined operations for partners.
