The Forrester Wave assessment of Low-Code Development Platforms included 26 criteria that were identified, researched, analyzed and evaluated. The evaluation named Microsoft a visionary, and particularly highlights Microsoft’s vision to make Power Platform the most widely used product in the low-code market. Another factor contributing to the positive evaluation was that Power Platform is becoming increasingly integrated into the company’s entire technology sector.

The analysis showed that the platform is credible and unique as a universal development tool for the entire spectrum of professional and citizen developers working together. The report highlights that Microsoft’s track record of innovation (in AI, collaboration, etc.), its product roadmap and its exploding ecosystem fully support this vision.
