Connector 365 XRechnung

Companies that interact with German federal authorities must comply with the requirement of sending invoices in the XRechnung XML file format. And from 2025, electronic invoicing will also be mandatory in the B2B-sector. However, using an external tool for this task can be cumbersome as it operates outside the Business Central environment. Our Connector 365 XRechnung solves this issue by providing a seamless process to check if the invoice is compliant with XRechnung requirements. If it is, the tool sends the invoice as a regular PDF and as the XRechnung XML file to the recipient.

This connector offers a simple setup process per customer, considers accompanying attachments, and allows for optional individual dispatch control of XML only, XML + PDF as the original attachment, or XML with embedded attachments. It also optionally checks the Ident ID and offers the option to enter additional Ident IDs. Before sending the correct XML, the tool checks the XRechnung format to ensure it is compliant. The sent documents are archived, and a sending log is generated.

The premium version of this app includes the ability to use XRechnung functions in service reports, providing additional flexibility for companies dealing with German federal authorities. In case the invoice is not compliant, a test report is displayed to the user for repair.
