Empowered Business Central – Release Notes Version 2.30.0.0

We’re pleased to announce that Empowered BC, version v2.30.0.0, is now live on AppSource and available for update in Business Central.

This release continues our focus on fundamental improvements across a number of modules, sprinkles some partner-suggested improvements, and is Business Central 28 compatible already!

  • Improved Complaint Management task ownership and status handling by bi‑directionally syncing assignments and completion between To‑dos and Claim Tasks, enforcing valid person/team assignment rules, and making Task ID a read‑only link that opens the related Task Card.
  • Enhanced Rental Management reliability and governance by correcting rental-period and billing logic (including ledger-entry filtering and automatic quantity/price recalculations), simplifying the UI by hiding project/document entry points when they’re not applicable and new functionalities in the form of adding approval workflows and support for open‑ended rentals.
  • Extensive improvements in Advanced Pricing & Discounts for accuracy and control of unit‑of‑measure conversion so totals/statistics calculate correctly, ensuring purchase documents show the correct Direct Unit Cost & aggregated line discount %, and enabling correction/cancellation/corrective credit memos from posted purchase.
  • Plus, extension of Document Management System to Production Orders and Advanced Costing configuration for fallback cost calculations.
