Why customer experience is a key source of data for marketers

2026

In today’s episode of the Companial Soft Talk Podcast, Olga Generalova, Partner GTM Lead at Companial, is joined by Sandra, who leads Customer Experience at Companial, for a practical conversation on the role of customer experience in marketing.

As marketers face increasing pressure to generate new leads and prove ROI, it’s easy to overlook one of the most powerful growth drivers: your existing customers. This episode explores why staying close to customers – and truly understanding their experiences, expectations, and feedback – is no longer optional, but essential for building trust, loyalty, and long-term growth.

From the impact of the “dark funnel” to the power of authentic customer insights, Olga and Sandra unpack how marketers can move beyond generic messaging and create meaningful, relevant engagement that resonates across the entire customer journey.

You’ll also hear practical advice on how to collect and use customer feedback effectively, how to turn satisfied customers into advocates, and why – even in an AI-driven world – human connection remains at the heart of great marketing.
