As part of a three-year plan, Microsoft is encouraging its Dynamics partners to move to the cloud. This includes changing DPL and SPA margins in early October and December 2024. These changes will financially impact partners with clients on on-premises licenses making their business less attractive.

One key strategy for on-premises partners is to acquire certain specializations through the Microsoft AI Cloud Partner Program (MAICPP).
