As part of a three-year plan, Microsoft is encouraging its Dynamics partners to move to the cloud. This includes changing DPL and SPA margins in early October and December 2024. These changes will financially impact partners with clients on on-premises licenses making their business less attractive.
One key strategy for on-premises partners is to acquire certain specializations through the Microsoft AI Cloud Partner Program (MAICPP). This document introduces MAICPP and outlines the path to acquiring Solution Partner Designations in Business Applications and Specializations in Small and Midsize Business Management, Finance, or Supply Chain as a strategy to counter the upcoming changes in DPL and SPA margins.
