Document Management System, DMS for short, allows your users to store external documents in Business Central. This feature allows for storage directly in Business Central.
- Keep several types of documents, such as technical sheets, photos, and others on the item level and per order.
- Create folder views.
- Customize which documents are shown on which page.
- Export documents in bulk, ex: all invoices from the past month.
- Determine permissions on how many documents each folder can contain.
- Set up an automatic archive option when adding an updated version of the document.
- Set up automatic folder and subfolder creation per year and per month.
