Electronic invoicing solution for mandatory B2B e-invoicing compliance under Spain's Ley Crea y Crece

The solution covers invoice emission and reception in all required structured formats (UBL, Facturae, CII, EDIFACT) and through all required channels, including the Ley Crea y Crece public platform and FACeB2B. It also manages mandatory payment status reporting (acceptance/rejection and payment confirmation) within the 4-business-day deadline. Docuten is a Qualified Trust Service Provider under eIDAS, a certified Peppol Access Point, and holds ISO 27001 certification.

Full Description

Docuten Ley Crea y Crece is a certified electronic invoicing platform that enables Spanish companies and self-employed professionals to comply with Law 18/2022 and Royal Decree 238/2026, which mandates structured B2B electronic invoicing for all companies with economic activity in Spain. Large companies (turnover >€8M) must comply from October 2027; all other businesses and self-employed from October 2028. Both deadlines are triggered by the entry into force of the Ministerial Order on October 1, 2026. On the emission side, Docuten handles all four official structured formats defined by RD 238/2026 — UBL, Facturae, CII and EDIFACT — aligned with the EN16931 semantic data model. It sends invoices via the Ley Crea y Crece public platform, FACeB2B and Peppol, and automatically generates a unique invoice identifier (issuer NIF, number, series, date). During the 12-month transition period, it also attaches a PDF for large companies as required. On the reception side, Docuten processes incoming structured invoices from the Ley Crea y Crece platform or Peppol, routing them through configurable approval workflows before integration with the client’s ERP. For payment status reporting, the platform automates the two mandatory notifications — acceptance/rejection and payment confirmation — within the 4-business-day deadline established by art. 10 of RD 238/2026. All invoices are signed with advanced or delegated electronic signature as required. As a Qualified Trust Service Provider under eIDAS and ISO 27001-certified, Docuten guarantees maximum legal validity and data security.

USP

Docuten covers emission, reception and mandatory payment status reporting under a single platform and a single ERP integration — no need to manage separate tools for each obligation. It supports all four formats required by RD 238/2026 and connects to all relevant channels (Ley Crea y Crece public platform, FACeB2B, Peppol) without additional cost per channel. As both a Qualified Trust Service Provider under eIDAS and a certified Peppol Access Point, all legal guarantees are provided in-house. A team of 40+ people based in Spain provides personalized support throughout implementation and ongoing compliance.
