Companial goes Canada

Last year two magnificent people from the Microsoft Canada team, Dan Mennie and Nour Ali,  got in touch to have a chat about the opportunity for Companial to present at Directions North America specifically to discuss our experiences in helping partners to drive end customer digital transformation. I had the pleasure to talk to Canadian partners and one question kept coming up: “Why is Companial only in Europe? Why don’t you offer your services in North America?”. That made me think long and hard  about the potential… could we offer the same services to Canadian partners as we do for European partners?. A lot of the conversation with Dan and Nour was mainly about the success we could bring regarding our partners from On-Prem to SaaS. We have learnt over the last 10 years that our membership services and building long term, super deep relationships with our partners is underpinned by our ability to look after our partners’ transactions with Microsoft: whether that is on-premise or CSP. Our friends in Canada recognized this too!

We then began to evaluate the business case internally…. I had the privilege to travel back and forth across the Atlantic from sunny Wales, met brilliant partners in Canada and brilliant people in the Microsoft Canada team and so the idea became reality. While there was a lot of paperwork to be done we are  finally opening up an office in Toronto, hiring local people to align with the overall Companial strategy of having a regional business with regional people. So Canada will be the 8th region, that will be part of the success proven regional set-up to serve our partners best to exceed expectations.

We are very much looking forward to offering our Canadian partners the same safe harbor, as we say, when it comes to their Microsoft Dynamics business. I am so very proud of having the full support and trust of Microsoft North America and Corp.

Our new regional lead Raymond Damphousse will start with a first introduction at Directions North America 2023, that will be held April 16-19, 2023 at the Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress Resort in Orlando, Florida. We are on stage at one of the Canadian Partner regional sessions at Directions North America to discuss our unique value proposition and share our learnings over the years. Then we will be ramping up: starting with meeting partners over April and May through to some kick-off event overs summer and fall

Personally, my mission  – the companies mission – has never changed… to help all Dynamics partners exceed expectations. It’s the reason I started the UK business back in 2013! 🙂  Building a Canadian Microsoft Dynamics community similar to the one we have in Europe will help to increase partners’ productivity, deal with the pervasive capability and capacity challenge and drive customer digital transformation whilst increasing the migration rates from On-Prem to SaaS tremendously. We have more than 2000 years of Dynamics experience within our organization and with the services we have developed for Dynamics partners  we are convinced we can help drive partner and end customer digital transformation throughout Canada..
